The month’s are certainly flying past, I suppose the big news this month has got to be the extraordinary sales we achieved following the Face of Ireland Semi Finals which were held at Morans Red Cow Hotel in Dublin. We are indeed very proud sponsors of the event and were thrilled when Dublin football legends Bernard Brogan and Eamon Fennell

In the meantime;  Wildcard  - Dejana has joined our promotions team so you can expect to see some pretty spectacular  photos of Dejana wearing Orchid Jewels (possibly little else) over the coming months.

You can’t imagine my surprise to find on Saturday morning that we had completely sold out of every piece of stock?  so it’s just as well we have such a terrific  relationship with our suppliers who were able to replenish the shelves here at Orchid Towers within 24hrs.

Still on the Semi Finals – The show stopper of the night was of course the World Premier Exclusive performance of Niamh Collins massive hit “When you feel” co-write with Swiss DJ / Producer Fred Lilla;  who’s records are currently being played by the likes of David Guetta – Niamh you might remember  – we presented with Orichid Jewellery back in January as part of an endorsement deal – and when she was on tour in Dubai last month her Orchid Dazzlers caused quite a stir – which resulted in our online sales rocketing.

My heartfelt thanks to Face of Ireland Executive Producer Brian Cunningham for his relentless support; we are very pleased to announce that as a result of our relationship we have now joined forces with the White Hotel Group and look forward to working with Megan & her team when we start to fit out the hotels next week.

Finally this months winner of the Weekend Away for two goes to Mrs Lucy Brown and her husband Gerald of Ardee, Co Louth.  Congratulations and hope you both have  a wonderful stay at the Central Hotel, Donegal – don’t forget to let us know how you both get on – it’s an absolutely stunning hotel.

FACE OF IRELAND USA

Sales of Orhcid Jewels shot through the roof this month as pictures emerged of the stunningly beautiful Garda Ciara Quinn; The 2012 Face of Ireland attending this year’s New York St Patrick’s Day Parade. Seen here wearing Orchid Jewels on 5th Avenue New York USA with Parade Boss Hilary Beirne, The Xavier HS Regiment from Manhattan, NYC., and 2.5million of her closet friends. Over 250,000 marched in the parade and 2.5 million spectators lined the streets to watch the world’s biggest parade in glorious sunshine; a balmy 68 degrees. We think our Ciara looked very regal in her Orchid Jewels.

Mothers Day

The following day of course was Mother’s Day and what  an utter triumph. We love when the Universe gets timing so perfect, our e-Store went into overload in the run up to Mother’s Day and with the next bank holiday less than 2 weeks away it looks like some women will be getting a little more thank Chocolate this year.  We’ve had dozens of orders for something dazzling to put into their Easter Eggs as gifts.  Lovely idea, we’re only too happy to oblige.
